Congratulations to Raymond and Sharrol Morley on winning $33,778.50!
Raymond and Sharrol are local to Kingston and heard about the 50/50 raffle on local radio. They said they like to help out when they can, especially for organizations where proceeds go directly back to the local community.
This is the second of three 50/50 raffles that the ALCDSB is hosting this year. The initiative is organized to support the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation, which supports local students and families during times of financial crisis.
“We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of our communities. With the final 50/50 raffle pot of over $67,000, this has become one of the biggest fundraising events for the ALCE Foundation,” said Leila Goyer, Chair of the ALCE Foundation.
